How to Care for Your Rechargeable Gadgets
TinyBoxBD Team ·

Portable blenders, earbuds, handheld fans, power banks and night lamps all run on lithium batteries. Treated well, they last for years. Here are the habits that make the biggest difference.
Charging habits
- Use a decent charger and cable. A standard phone adapter is fine for most small gadgets. Avoid very cheap, unbranded fast chargers.
- Do not leave devices at zero. If you will not use something for a while, charge it to about half first, and top it up every two or three months.
- Unplug when full. Most devices stop charging automatically, but there is no benefit in leaving them plugged in for days.
- Charge on a hard surface. Not under a pillow or on a bed, where heat cannot escape.
Heat is the enemy
Batteries age fastest when they are hot. Do not leave a power bank or earbuds on a car dashboard in the sun, and let a device cool down before charging it if it feels warm after heavy use.
Keep water where it belongs
Splash-resistant does not mean waterproof. Wipe earbuds and speakers dry before putting them back in a case or on charge. With a portable blender, wash the jar and lid, but never put the motor base under running water. Make sure the charging port is completely dry before you plug it in.
Cleaning
- Clean earbud tips and mesh gently with a dry cotton bud.
- Brush dust off fan grilles with a soft, dry brush.
- Rinse blender jars straight after use so pulp does not dry on the blades.
When something seems wrong
Stop using a device and contact us if the battery swells, the body becomes unusually hot, or you notice a burning smell. If a product arrives damaged or stops working soon after delivery, our return policy covers you: get in touch within 7 days with your order number.
A little care goes a long way. Most small gadgets fail because of heat, water or a neglected battery, and all three are easy to avoid.
